  • Introduction to del.icio.us and why every ESP instructor needs to use it: review of tags, Technorati tags vs Delicious tags ( Week 2)

Activity 1

  • Task 1: Del.icio.us's tutorial video - Watch the video, Social Bookmarking in Plain English, by Common Craft.
  • Task 2: Create your del.icio.us account and post your favorite tags, including this session's tag "web2foresp08": what have you found? organize by esp area
  • Task 3: Subscribe to http://del.icio.us/network/web2foresp08 and start posting links to web2foresp08 delicious network - use this format [for:web2foresp08] in the tagging section, then click Save

  • Task 4: Start bookmarking, tagging, networking, and sharing: network and share with others in your area of esp - examples of some popular ESP tags: health, science, engineering, tourism, business, businessenglish
